In a change of pace, I read a YA biography of missionary Amy Carmichael. She's always been someone I admired: she spent her whole life in service to others. Most of her life was spent in India, saving untouchable children and sharing the love of Jesus.
When I look at a woman like Amy, one who gave up her comfortable life in Victorian England in service of Jesus, it challenges me. How can I make a difference?
